Francis has over 20 years of experience in dispute resolution. He advised multinational, PRC and local corporate entities as well as individuals, including logistics companies, banks, insurance companies, contractors, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, statutory bodies, government departments, educational institutes, NGOs, charities, churches, owners’ corporations, professionals and general public etc. in a wide spectrum of legal disputes. He represented clients in courts, arbitral tribunals and quasi-judicial hearings.
Francis is an Arbitrator registered with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the Law Society of Hong Kong, the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA), eBRAM and FDRC. He was appointed as sole arbitrator to adjudicate corporate and contractual disputes.
Francis is a Mediator registered with the HKIAC, the Law Society of Hong Kong, the Joint Mediation Helpline Office Limited, the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited, the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and eBRAM. He received appointments as mediator to facilitate settlement between parties in land, investment, banking and intellectual disputes.
Francis was a partner in the dispute resolution department of a well-established local law firm for 4 years before he co-founded his previous Firm in 2017 and then subsequently established WTS Lawyers. Prior to that, Francis had also worked in the Hong Kong office of a renowned international UK law firm and the Department of Justice of HKSAR.

Janet spent her initial 5 years of legal career as a commercial lawyer in various well-established law firms actively involved in cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as sale and purchase of business transactions. She also acted for banking clients in financing transactions and advising on diversified legal issues arising from the daily banking business operation.
Janet then joined the in-house legal profession and she was a Senior Legal Counsel of a multi-national banking corporation for over a decade before joining WTS Lawyers. She managed a wide spectrum of legal matters not only in Hong Kong, but also China, Singapore and Japan where the bank operates. She intensively participated in strategic projects, branches establishment and closure, product development and enhancement, financing transactions, and constantly advised on personal data privacy, employment, sourcing, marketing related legal issues.
Being an experienced in-house legal adviser, Janet fully understands the key concerns and pain points whenever a corporation encounters a legal problem, and Janet is keen to approach the problem with business acumen and explore pragmatic options to clients to address their concerns.

Helene started her career as a corporate finance lawyer in an international law firm. She was experienced in bilingual joint venture negotiations and advising in high-tech venture investments. In international public offerings and private placements of securities, she had represented both issuers and underwriters in debt and equity securities offerings. The intense board room experience built in a spirit of pragmatic optimism in her to handle complex conflicts with stamina, good will and creativity for win-win solutions.
In recent years, Helene represented and advised many creative professionals, high-net-worth individuals, tech entrepreneurs, artists and designers and helped clients achieve pleasing results from simple to complex matters of law in areas such as will and probate, divorce and separation, debt recovery, to high-stake property and contractual disputes.
Aside from a lawyer, Helene is also a trained general and family mediator and a certified life coach. Helene creates a safe and supportive setting in which clients are guided to take a holistic review of their legal needs and interests at a time of great stress and transition. Clients are supported to make beneficial and informed decisions to move forward to a refreshed new start.
Helene was a co-founder of a social enterprise in Taiwan from 2012 to 2020. The work took her to serve the widows, orphans and underprivileged in impoverished villages in Cambodia and India. Helene also served as volunteer counselor in Taoyuan women’s prison.
Having lived in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei, Helene has an excellent command of Mandarin, Cantonese and English, and has a strong network to handle cross-border affairs for clients.

Kenneth studied at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for his law degree and was granted a full-tuition scholarship for his outstanding academic performance.
After his studies, he worked in a leading Hong Kong-based financial banking group as compliance officer and gained solid experience in regulatory compliance matters in the financial service industry, particularly in the areas of data privacy and e-banking.
Kenneth then commenced training at a well-established local law firm and was subsequently admitted as Solicitor of High Court of Hong Kong in 2019. His practice areas are mainly in the field of dispute resolution and commercial matters. He has experience in advising clients in claims such as defamation, employees’ compensation, personal injuries, land disputes, divorce, arbitration and legal issues arising from commercial restructuring projects.
Kenneth is devoted to establish all-rounded litigation and dispute resolution practice and has particular interest in areas of construction and arbitration.

Fiona joined WTS Lawyers as trainee solicitor since September 2020. She first received training at a local solicitors’ firm with extensive networks and diversified practice. After receiving training for a year, Fiona aspires to specialize and become a dispute resolution lawyer in her future legal career and joins WTS Lawyers.
Fiona began her first career at a transport conglomerate in 2012 and had held various positions in the Human Resources Division until she left in 2017 to pursue her legal career. Over the years, given her ample experience in dispute resolution, crisis management, liaison and negotiation with labour unions and staff bodies, Fiona has developed strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fiona holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Business degree from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and obtained her Juris Doctor law degree and postgraduate certificate in laws from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Kitty is a trainee solicitor of WTS Lawyers since August 2022.
After she obtained her Management degree, she joined the garment industry and began her first career in a multinational corporation focusing on client management and product development working closely with designers from well-known fashion brands to acquire an understanding of their needs and expectation.
Subsequently, she has moved to the finance industry and was employed by a leading financial institution as the Senior Associate specialising on Know Your Client review. She has experience in handling anti-money laundering controls and executing new regulatory policies introduced by oversea regulators.
Owing to her past working experience Kitty has developed good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
She then received a Bachelor of Laws at the Manchester Metropolitan University and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) at the University of Hong Kong in 2022.

Vigny is a graduate from the University of Guangzhou major in Chinese Language and Literature. She then completed a master degree in Chinese Linguistics with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Born in Guangzhou Vigny chose to station in Hong Kong to pursue her career. She worked in various law firms in Hong Kong for more than 9 years and gained broad exposure in different areas of legal practice, including litigation, probate, family and matrimonial and conveyancing.
Vigny has handled lots of professional support work for lawyers and her unique cultural background together with strong language capability make her an efficient facilitator when assisting the Firm to deal with matters involving PRC elements.
